This year, by shifting the dates slightly, we tried to obtain highest level of participation. The festival will be held between 09th and 13th of May 2018, in Ankara, at the training grounds of Middle East Technical University and Bilkent University. As you are already well aware of, these Festival Seminars are organized in the loving memory of our Shihan, Nobuyoshi Tamura. Following his traces on this way under the guidance of Nebi Vural, we will feel the joy of being a huge international family practicing together.
Under the light of the experience of the last four years, this year we managed to organize two accommodation options. Whichever option you choose, you will have contact persons in charge to help you in case you experience problems.
Option – Aldino Hotel :
Located at Tunali Hilmi Street which is one of the prominent districts of Ankara, Aldino Hotel offers a quite high comfort and will fulfill almost all of your needs. The hotel is close to many high-end and authentic dining locations. You will find gourmet restaurants by taking a small walk or a maximum 5 minutes of taxi ride. Cost of this option, in which breakfast is included, is

Festival Participation Fee
The Festival will again be free of charge for our international guests.
Lunch and Dinner
In the campus areas of METU and Bilkent University, right next to the Festival area, where specialties from Turkish Cuisine, including meat, poultry, fish options besides many local flavors are served to our esteemed guests. Also, the accommodation option, Aldino Hotel, is at Tunali Hilmi Street, where you can find many options for dining, while you give a rest to shopping. You do not have to worry about transportation. All your transportation requirements will be met smoothly with minibuses reserved for you. Of course you will have many other options based on your preference. You can easily get information from your contact persons on other possible dining places, if you wish to try dining at other locations. A cost of a meal per person on the average is around 30 TL (≈7,5 €).
There are private minibuses reserved for your disposal throughout the festival program for transportation from accommodation places to Festival area and dining places, and back. Thus, you will not have to carry your belongings with you, neither will you be trying to find a changing room or shower facilities. Before each practice session you will be taken from your door with your keikogi and then you will be taken back to your accommodation center with your keikogi on in warm minibuses, in order to save time. The fee of this service is 40 € for the whole festival (8€ per day).
There will be optional airport transfers for our guests from abroad. We will meet you at the airport and transfer to your accommodation center, provided that you choose airport transfer option and send your flight details (flight number, time of arrival, etc.) in advance. At the end of the seminar we will take you from your accommodation center and will transfer you to the airport. Cost of each transfer direction is 10 €.
